Currently serving as the National Vice President of the Association of periOperative Registered Nurses (AORN) from 2022 to 2024, Darlene’s dedication to advancing the field of perioperative nursing is truly commendable. Her commitment has not only earned her recognition but has also led to positive changes within the healthcare community. She is also an Advisory Board member of TORG.
Darlene’s career has been marked by her role as a certified perioperative registered nurse at Memorial Hermann Hospital in the Texas Medical Center, where she has consistently demonstrated an unwavering commitment to delivering high-quality care, even in the most challenging and critical situations.
One of Darlene’s remarkable qualities is her ability to drive positive change. Her leadership skills have made a significant impact in various contexts, extending to national platforms. She has delivered impactful talks on topics ranging from diversity, equity, and inclusion to the specialized care of trauma patients.
